So, I thought it was time to make another random newspost update.

With that out of the way, what else have I been wasting my time on?
As you may have noticed, I have updated my userpage graphics, sig etc... I found the older one rather dull, this one is more vibrant, more me. Check out the how and why in my Qubicle. Or just look at my art there ;)

I have been participating and placing in the top three of the last few doubles. M-vero just submitted our entry for doubles 9. so we`ll see what becomes of that. Be sure to check out all the awesome entries and vote!
There will probably be no Doubles 10 for a while. With all the current projects, it will probably be delayed till january.

M-vero, Renaenae and me have hijacked the Tricolor collab. We`re currently cohosting it with Sirberetofclock. We set the deadline for november the 20th so youve got a few days left when I write this. Be sure to make something!

I have been Coauthored the Grim collab, that thing is actually taking my batting average down, but still, there is some decent art in it. check it out!

Together with Lundsfryd and Renaenae, I`m hosting the 2209 X-mas Collab (no its not a typo),
which is a christmas art collab, which is gonna rock this earth...
I still have to do my submission to it, but its going to be ace!

The Newgrounds Art Portal SHMUPproject has been going on. I have been placed in the Newgrounds/flashportal team. We need some good artists, so if youre not already in another team, send me a pm!

Update: Im teamed up with kernalphage, and our submission is looking quite good so far. Deadline for doubles 7 is coming thursday.

2010 NG Calendar Contest
Im working on my entry which will be a realistic red castle crasher. See wips in the talk thread. Thanks to Rhunyc for the great feedback.
Update: I finished my piece. deadline for the contest is in six hours from now. I am quite satisfied with my submission, but I doubt whether It`ll be selected. There have just been so many great entries.
Tricolor Collab
has four of my entries in it. Deadline for submissions has passed. Ive pmed sirBeretofClock for a status report, so more about that soon

and finally As Always. Check my Cubicle(personal art thread), for background stories on my art, links to high res versions, cow entries, a Cock etc.

Also: the art portal is broken at the moment! Some mods account got compromised, and he cut down the tree (poeple who have visited any discussion about the scouting/unscouting system will get this), which means a lot of poeple got unscouted. Including me. As we speak the mod team is working on restoring the portal to its former glory.
Update: Balance is more or less restored. I`ve been scouting twice a day since I got rescouted, but there are still quite some talented unscouted artists out there.

I haven't uploaded anything in a while now, mainly because I am doing too much at the same time, mostly wandering around the Art forum...
Another thing I have been doing is making an easter egg for the awesometastic Notepad Drawing Collab.
It is supposed to be released any time soon, (almost) all pieces are in, and as far as I know, half the easter eggs are finished.
Until then you could waste your time listening to the track I made to go along with my egg.

From the art forum I made the jump to the Flash Portal,
and from the Flash portal I now made the jump to the audio portal.

That's right, I just submitted an audio piece called "Calavera"
It's currently awaiting approval (since it's my first audio submission) but will (hopefully) be made available to you guys soon.

So, were having our bathroom redone, which in the current phase means removing the bath, toilet, sink, wall tiles, and FLOOR. Which results in the power tool sounds echoing through my room, which is adjacent the bathroom.
And now our nice little worker guys have decided that since I hardly spent any time in the hallway to my room, they might as well use it as storage... Having me go through various acts of acrobatics which would get me accepted into the cirque du soleil if only they saw them.
And during one of those escapades this morning, I spilled coffee over the story board of my new animation. Which brings me to the actual point of this post: I'm working on a new animation.
It's basically a pretty simple animation to the song Strange Fruit as performed by Nina Simone.
And the best part is that I might actually finish this one.

Now I started Three other animations in the past three weeks (none of them I finished...) so it might not sound so convincing, but well we'll see.

Hey peeps, I'm currently preparing for an Art Contest/Collab I planning to host. NG Foldables, the idea is that everyone makes a paper foldable of his/her favorite NG character/person/dunno. Could be Alien hominid, blockhead, P-bot or even Tom Fulp himself as far as I'm concerned. I'm currently contactin MindChamber about it, and I'll let you know more soon!

In the meantime, I'll post you a pic of the foldable I have been working on during the weekend: the Tank-award, awarded personalized to the best submissions.

So, this weekend I discovered the most amazing band ever, Le le.
Their music is quite okay, with incidentally great lyrics, but one of the best things about it is Para. Piet Para that is, dutch graphic designer, illustrator and now also musician.
